The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, launched in July 2020, is a 6-core desktop processor from the Ryzen 5 lineup, based on the Zen 2 (Renoir) architecture with Socket AM4. It supports AMD SMT, doubling the thread count to 12. The processor has 8 MB of L3 cache, runs at 3.7 GHz, and can boost to 4.2 GHz. Built on a 7 nm process with 9.8 billion transistors by TSMC, its multiplier is locked, limiting overclocking. It has a TDP of 65 W, supports DDR4 memory up to 3200 MT/s (higher with overclocking), ECC memory, and uses PCI-Express Gen 3. The chip includes Radeon Vega 7 integrated graphics, supports hardware virtualization and runs AVX and AVX2 instructions, but not AVX-512.
